Christmas Time @ the Yoder's

Laney: As you know, it is almost Christmas!!! And I want to tell you what goes on around @ OUR house. First, before I tell you about all we do and why we do it, this is the reason we do it, my mother. She is BIG on Christmas and when I say big i mean BIG, BIG, BIG!! She loves Christmas almost as much as she loves me. (But, she loves me much more) By the picture above it can probably describe how much she loves Christmas.                           O.K my mom may love Christmas but she says and I quote "we are just trying not to go overboard!!!" But we have three Christmas trees,  Christmas card doors , and MUCH, MUCH more. But I'M not complaining!!                                                      We all love Christmas and this is how it goes every year, Christmas all the way!! But I won't talk about the Christmas shows today!!                                 This is pretty much how it goes @ MY house when it is Christmas time!!!!

Fun in the Rain

Laney: this is what Summer is: FUN!!! Rain, Redneck slipping slide. Everything is fun except having to do house work. Since we live in Florida, one of the hottest States, it is Scorching hot!!!!! So since we don't have a pool we made ourselves a slipping slide a redneck one. A tarp and dishwashing detergent we are usually lucky enough to get any rain so we decided to make the best of it!

Well, when we did get rain, in the picture above and below, it poured we got over 7 inches in 1 week! It rained every day of the week! But the fun did not stop there we played on the tarp every day!We wouldn't stop, not even on my birthday!! It was fun all around! We couldn't believe that it rained that much in so little time! 

Everyone in our family liked having the rain, except Buddy, our dog.  He likes the soap, but not the water. When it comes to water, he runs away, as fast as he can.
